moved by the effort of the association to support growth of small and medium
scale business in the region and beyond.
“I am impressed by your
interest in the growth of businesses and your support to viable but collapsing
businesses in the region. I have also been following the progress of the
association in building a Press Centre, media Village, sanitation campaign and

Ghana” he stated

“In fact, transportation
has remained a big challenge to us as a executives and Association as a whole
trying to cover the districts and the two regions. What we have been doing in
the past three years putting up this Press Center, securing land for affordable
housing, and our regional Awards events tells you how much we have been moving
about for all these activities” A.B Kanyi.
According to a press
statement release later to this effect, the Volta GJA Secretariat observed
that, for journalism to attain its highest standard in a growing economy like
Ghana, journalists require support for regular training, logistics, better remuneration and welfare initiatives.
“we are opened for such
support even as we approach the 2020 election and urge media owners to
guarantee the safety and better working condition of service of their
employees”
