As part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities, the Chief Executive Officer of Infinity Den Enterprise and Infinity Stars Hotel at Penyi in the Ketu North Municipal of the Volta Region, Mr. John Kwakuvi Hounlessodji also known as Infinity, has handed over a newly built toilet facility and a borehole to the Dzodze Penyi Police station and Adzolakorpe community respectively.

Both the water project and the toilet facility cost Ghc18, 200.00 and Ghc16,700.00 respectively.

According to Mr. Hounlessodji, is to help address a lifelong water situation in the Adzolakorpe community and also give a conducive place of convenience to the inmates and personnel of the Ghana police service at the Peny Police station.

According to information, residents in the Adzolakorpe community always yearned for portable water for close to 100 years and called on the government and Non-Governmental organization (NGO’s) to assist them yielded no results.

For some residents in the community, it is a dream come true when Infinity successfully drilled a borehole worth thousands of Ghana cedis, for the provision of portable water as token of love to the community.

The Assemblyman of Adzolarkope electoral area Hon. Hope Kwesi Azaglo commended the efforts of Infinity CEO and his team for coming to their aid adding that, the gesture will go a long way to address their water situation challenges.

Mr. Azaglo further promised to put the facility to good use through proper maintenances to ensure that, the facility is sustained for a long time to the benefit of the community.

From Adzolarkope community, Mr. Hounlessodji and his team handed over toilet facility built for the Penyi Police Station as part of his commitment towards contributing to his municipality.

The Ketu North Municipal Police Commander, District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dogbatse Christian and Torgbuiga Dadzi V, the Paramount Chief of Penyi, have expressed gratitude to the team for successfully building and handing over the facility to the officers and inmates of Penyi Police station.

DSP Dogbatse noted that lack of toilet facility plays part of escape of some inmates from the police cells.

“Due to lack of these proper toilet facility, the officers are forced to take the inmates to other places to ease themselves which sometimes results in their running away” he explained

Mr. Hounlessodji however assured the people of Ketu North and Ketu South to expect more of these interventions from his Infinity Den Enterprise, Infinity Stars Hotel company and himself.

He however urged residents to join hands together to help build the Volta Region adding that, building the region is a collective responsibility from both the Citizens and Government.
